Hi, I'm Emma (she/her)!
I'm 21 years old, and I grew up in Warsaw, NY (the middle of nowhere between Rochester and Buffalo). I've been a musician all of my life and pursued a vocal music education degree for one year before taking the leap to full time wedding photographer. I play cello, guitar, you name it and I probably own one! I love folk music new and old (think Neil Young, Mandolin Orange, Brudi Brothers, Red Clay Strays, Hozier, etc.) and have been a massive Noah Kahan fan since his first album. I even have tattoos on my arms for my favorite Noah song- Orange Juice!
I am a huge animal lover- dogs were my first love, but cats have slowly crept their way into my heart too (don't even get me started on my frogs)! My partner Joe and I already had a dog (Bruno, whom most of my social media followers know!) and a cat of our own when we built and moved into our first home last September. In December, we lost a friend to his mental health struggle and inherited his 2 cats (Stella and Oscar "The Grouch") and his dog Rippy the Hippie. We are a close unit of 5 these days!
If that didn't occupy my time enough, I'm also a huge car guy- Joe and I can be found with our '99 Miata and our WRX at any and all shows from May-October.
This fall will mark my 6th year in business! It's absolutely mind blowing how far my career has come, when I didn't intend for it to be a career in the first place. I won't lie and say that wedding photography has been my dream since pre-school, but I am so incredibly glad that I stumbled into it! I'll always remember the guy that gifted me my first vintage Polaroid and kicked off my interest in taking photos. I'm honored to say I just closed out my 1st year full-time, my 4th year of weddings, and my 3rd year of elopements!
The one thing I love the most about my job over anything else is how much fun I have- Yes, I get to go to some of the coolest places across the country, but no matter where I am (whether that's close to home or not) I get to hang with some of the most awesome people! That's the best part by far. There's nowhere I'd rather be than out on the dance floor or roughing it thru the mountains with folks that were strangers 24 hours prior. I can't wait to see you all out there!
Looking for the life of the party? You found her!
I pride myself on being organized and professional during the day. i'm there when you need me (teaching you how to pin a boutenneire, bustle a dress, sew a zipper) and gone when you need me out of the way! I know how important it is to blend into the background while still being ready for the magic when it happens...
But I’m also all about the fun vibes! When the party starts and the music is rolling, I’m out there with you, having a blast, matching your energy, and capturing your best day ever.
THE EMMA BETH PHOTO Wedding EXPERIENCE

"LOOK FOR THE LIGHT"
THE CORE OF MY BUSINESS- BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Truthfully, Look For The Light is a phrase born from one of my favorite games as a kid (if you know what game, I love you!) but it has developed so much more meaning for me, my life, and my work. It needed to be a part of my business in some way!
Yes, firstly it's about literal light- a vibrant, bright warmth that golden hour often brings into my photos- but not every day is light. In fact, rainy wedding days especially seem to follow me around more often than not.
Maybe the light really IS sunshine, but it could also be the way your partner looks at you during a quiet moment, or the way your kids smile and laugh while meeting their baby sister for the first time. Maybe it's the way the clouds open into a spectacular pink sunset after it poured buckets for your entire ceremony, or how time stops as you watch the moment your partner becomes a parent for the first time.

senior photos? Family Milestones?
I can help with that too!
the foundation of my business was Actually senior photos! It's still one of my specialties to this day.
truthfully, I never intended to be a family photographer, but after watching my first group of senior clients get married and build families all these years later, how could i say no? Now, photographing growing families is one of my favorite things to do!
